Older polycarbonate conservatory roofs are notoriously energy-inefficient, allowing up to 70% of heat to escape. By upgrading to an insulated tiled roof, you can reduce this heat loss to approximately 20%. This transformation makes a massive difference, turning your conservatory into a comfortable room that can be enjoyed all year round.

In most cases, we can retain your existing aluminium conservatory framework. Because this structure is strong enough to support the weight of an adult, it is perfectly suited to support the lightweight tiles we install on the exterior.

For the interior, we use layers of high-performance insulation and silver foil—materials similar to those used in aircraft construction. This ensures your space remains free from condensation throughout both hot and cold weather. We finish the interior with white uPVC cladding, which is maintenance-free and helps reflect light to keep the space bright. Additionally, we can install integrated LED lighting as part of the upgrade.

The combination of tiling and insulation also absorbs external noise, making your conservatory significantly quieter during harsh weather. By drastically reducing heat conduction, the room stays warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

While we specialize in retrofitting existing structures, we also offer services for new conservatory builds, which can be constructed from timber and finished with traditional plasterboard and skim.
